The family identity has always been fundamental to the success of SAF BIANCO over the decades.
The story began in 1936, when Domenico Bianco, a skilled turner at the largest mechanical engineering company in the Italian city of Schio, made the bold decision to move to Brussels, eager to discover new opportunities.
A few years later, he returned to Italy with his mind full of ideas, enriched by new technical and leadership skills, determined to make a meaningful mark on his life and career. He got married, started a family and, driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, transformed a small garden near his home into a 100-square-meter workshop.
Despite its modest size, thanks to his experience, Domenico began producing molded articles in bakelite.
Thus, in 1945, SAF (an acronym for “Stampaggio Articoli Fenolici” – Molding of Phenolic Articles) was born in Schio, in the province of Vicenza.
From those humble beginnings, much has changed, but the entrepreneurial spirit of the Bianco family has remained intact. Over the years, the world has presented both opportunities and challenges, which the Bianco family has faced with resilience and adaptability. The second generation expanded the company’s horizons with strategic investments in various sectors, particularly in plastics, where from the 1980s onward the focus shifted to packaging.
Today, the second generation, represented by Diego and Eddo, continues to uphold the company’s mission as ambassadors of specialized knowledge, expertise, and family values. SAF BIANCO is now led by the third generation of the family: Massimiliano, Simone, and Raffaele.
With fresh perspectives and a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, they continue to drive the company’s growth, strengthening SAF BIANCO’s leadership and know-how in injection molding technologies and packaging.
With the fourth generation on the horizon, SAF BIANCO is ready to carry forward the legacy of a family whose entrepreneurial vision and leadership skills will continue to shape the future for many years to come.

I am Massimiliano BIANCO, Chief Executive Officer of SAF BIANCO SRL.
In 1990, shortly after completing my studies, I joined the family business.
From the very beginning, I was deeply inspired by a strong sense of responsibility to uphold the reputation of our family and the prestige of our company. This commitment has always driven me to dedicate myself with determination to the company’s growth and to the preservation of its legacy.
Since the start of my career, I have been guided by a clear vision: to transform our company into a leading player in the industry, capable of setting new standards of excellence and innovation.
Through years of investment in cutting-edge production technologies, process innovation, and product design, we have established ourselves as the most advanced company in Italy in the field of injection-molded plastic packaging.
It is a source of great pride for us to serve today some of the most important and respected food and beverage producers, both in Italy and internationally, with our high-quality products.
Operating in a highly competitive sector has placed us before great challenges, which we have always faced with resilience and determination. Yet, the rise of SAF BIANCO is far from over.
